A Holiday Clawfoot Tub Vignette

With Christmas right around the corner, I wanted to create a relaxing and lush vignette with our clawfoot tub. Nothing screams relaxation more than a warm bubble bath lit by candles.

To set the winter scene,  I started by draping two of our 9' cedar + evergreen garlands from the windowsill. I allowed the garland to puddle behind the clawfoot for a lush and luxurious feel. These long 9' garlands are perfect for above a doorway or on a large mantel! I also mixed in one of our cedar + pinecone garlands to add an extra layer of pine and interest.

Our marble wall tile is the perfect layer of contrast behind all the pretty holiday pines. I'm still smitten with this bathroom that we completed last winter. I find it pretty special that I'm sharing this bathroom scene now because this weekend last year- we were moving into our home. How quickly time passes.

In the corner of the pine draping, I scrunched up one of our Santa's Sleigh Bells for a brass touch. I love how the round brass bells compliment our antique crystal chandelier!

Swooping my favorite glass ornament garland on the top was the finishing touch. I love this sheer ribboned garland as it feels very chic and timelessly elegant!

The soft candle light feels very relaxing and romantic as the flickering light bounces off the cast iron tub sides. With some soft Christmas piano music, my mind can ease as I reflect back on the last year. I still remember being pregnant with Jules last Christmas... soaking in this tub. Christmas Eve night I took a warm bubble bath and watched snow fall from the window above my head. I'm so thankful for this year and this home.

Where ever you guys are this season, may you have moments like these. Restful and inspiring. Make it intentional.

Hugs, Alyssa
